I have a book that is basically a collation of a bunch of articles from Footballing past. In that book is a picture of 4 Spurs players forming a wall. They have this amazing Yellow Admiral Away shirt on that has 2 Dark Blue Stripes that look like the top third of an X. I decided that since Spurs shirts are usually devoid of any characteristic (with their home shirt being famously all-white) that I'd pay homage to the time period that this beaut was from & it's also the era where Tottenham legend Glenn Hoddle made his breakthrough, hence why I've used his name on the reverse. Researching Tottenham's shirt history I found out that the time period is 1977-1980. I hope that my homage has captured even a bit of the charm the original has.
